Who We Are

Who is it for?

FIGHT4LUPUS provides financial support for co-pays, medications, rides to and from doctors visit, rent and bill assistant. With our “Become a Living Donor Program” we match a healthy adult to a survivor, so they can donate a kidney or liver to save their lives. Some people never receive the LIFE SAVING TRANSPLANT they need, so FIGHT4LUPUS is determined to give them a chance at recovery and life again.
FIGHT4LUPUS was founded ten years ago by Shanail Mo’nick, a Lupus Survivor. After being diagnosed with multiple diseases that complicated her life, being given a 50/50 chance of living, losing everything, car, house, mind and job of 5 years. Instead of getting depressed and just accepting the diagnosis she decided to fight back. Shanail Mo’nick formed FIGHT4LUPUS. She didn’t want any other survivor to go through the pain of dealing with a diagnosis and worrying about financial needs because it is harder and takes longer to get better and back on your feet.
